From the polishing state of cross-section metallographic samples, it can be seen that the rust-proof aluminium plate itself has been corroded, and the corrosion products on its surface come from the corrosion of its matrix, and have the characteristics of pitting corrosion.
The results of AES agree well with those of EDS, and AES results are not affected by matrix aluminium, and pure surface components (nano-scale) are detected. In addition to aluminum, oxygen, carbon, sulfur and chlorine, iron and other elements were also detected at the black spot. The existence of iron accelerates the pitting corrosion in the medium containing chloride ions
The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy show important chemical reactions in the corrosion process. White spots and black spots on the surface of rust-proof aluminium sheet are corrosion products produced by corrosion of aluminium sheet, which mainly contain some impurities such as Al2O 3 and Al (OH) 3. In general, there is a dense Al2O3 film on the surface of the aluminium plate, which does not contain Al (OH) 3.
It can be concluded that the chemical reaction of Al2O3 Al (OH) 3 with O2 on the surface of rust-proof aluminium sheet occurs.
