1、 敞篷
敞篷 集装箱装箱的方便之处在于其顶部可随时装卸。敞篷标准集装箱的顶部有两种类型：软型和硬型。硬顶的原材料是钢板，装卸工具是起重机。软顶大多由帆布和塑料布制成，只要卷起一段，顶就可以打开。敞篷标准集装箱适用于装载木材、钢材和易碎的重型货物。
2、 通风的
通风标准容器的特点是“通风”。实现通风的方法是在集装箱的顶部和侧面设置多个通风口，使货物在运输过程中保持干燥和通风。大多数用通风标准容器运输的货物是蔬菜和水果。通风容器不仅可以运输这些新鲜的水果和蔬菜，而且如果通风孔关闭，还可以运输其他食品杂货。
3、 工作台类型
集装箱没有侧壁和顶部，只有底板上的角柱和四个角。这种集装箱可以从不同角度装卸，不受前、后、左、右的限制。因此，这种集装箱更适合运输大而长的货物，如一些木材、钢材和重型机械。由于缺少顶盖，平台式标准集装箱的防水性能不好。如果货物在雨雪天气装载，应使用帆布密封。
