For a long time, the maintenance cost of factory buildings in China has occupied a large part of the cost of factories. The main reason is that the waterproof of metal roof is treated as a simple problem and the only problem. Some important factors are
ignored, which leads to "grasping the eyebrows and whiskers". However, in the end, the workshop still suffers from common quality problems such as water leakage and rust. So, how to improve the waterproof scheme of metal roof?
1、 Sealing material maintenance
When doing waterproof maintenance for metal roof, we found that the use of conventional steel structure waterproof materials often needs repair. For example, the coiled material is easy to crack. We cut 30-50 mm along both sides of the crack to
expose the leveling layer; use a toothless saw to cut the crack with a width of 20-40mm and a depth of 50-70% of the width of the slot. After removing the impurities on the plate joint and both sides, the base course is coated with treatment agent, and
the backing material is set, and the sealing material is embedded in the joint, and the coiled material on both sides is glued at the same time. It should be noted that the width of the coiled material embedded in the joint on both sides should not be
less than 30mm, and the surface should be curved.
2、 Coil maintenance
The surface course with width of 300 mm on both sides of the crack shall be cleaned, and the joint shall be filled with coating or sealing paste, and the width of one side
point sticking on the joint shall not be less than 100 mm; the coiled material isolation layer layer shall be covered with coiled material with a width of more than 300 mm, and the effective bonding width with the original waterproof layer shall not be
less than 100 mm; the lap joint shall be sealed and compacted with sealing paste around, and the width shall not be less than 10 mm.
3、 Waterproof coating
The part removed from the aging of the original coil needs to be removed and cleaned
first, the base course is exposed, the coating or sealing paste is filled in the crack place, and then two layers of coating waterproof layer with matrix reinforcement material are laid after curing, the thickness of which should not be less than 3mm.
The reinforced material can be sewing polyester cloth, which is essentially different from non-woven fabric, and the fiber of non-woven fabric has no directionality And it is impermeable. The waterproof layer formed by using non-woven fabric as the reinforcing
material of waterproof layer is delamination, and the coating can not impregnate the non-woven fabric well, so the service life is very short. The warp direction of stitched polyester fabric has reinforcement line, and the fibers are arranged in strands
according to dimensional direction, so it has excellent mechanical properties.
