Because some motors work in the electric state and some in the power generation state during the normal operation of the color coating unit, the drive system usually adopts the mode of rectifier (or rectifier feedback unit) + common DC bus + inverter, which not only simplifies the circuit, but also has obvious energy-saving effect. In addition to the conventional sequence and logic control, the PLC control of the color coating unit also completes the speed coordination control, tension control, looper position control, coating thickness control, curing furnace combustion control, strip sag control and strip tail positioning control of the whole line. The computer system includes HMI screen system with functions of remote control, online monitoring, fault diagnosis and alarm, engineer station, color coating unit with higher configuration level, and secondary computer system, which mainly completes the management of production and quality. In addition to the cleaning and curing furnace in the process section and some conventional temperature, pressure and liquid level instruments in the pressurized station, the detection instruments of the color coating unit also include some special instruments.
